LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A beautiful day ahead for Kentucky with a mostly sunny sky expected. It will be cooler than yesterday as highs top out in the mid to upper 60s. You’ll notice the breeze again, which will make it feel cooler, especially in the shade.

The wind dies down overnight with a mostly clear sky prevailing. That will set the stage for a cold overnight with lows in the mid to upper 30s and patchy frost possible in sheltered valleys.

Clouds will increase on Wednesday, which will keep temperatures even cooler. Expect highs only in the low 60s.

We’re keeping a close eye on Hurricane Ian. Depending on the track, the remnants of Ian could bring us some showers over the weekend.
